Triage

This is a time when hospitals have to decide who to treat first and who to keep waiting. This picture depicts a man laying in a pool of blood (represented by the red blanket), waiting to be treated. The long flights of stairs depict the time he ahas to wait and the journey of pain he must go through before reaching the top (where help is found).
